Welcome to the first episode of Wizard Health! Today I’ll be sharing with you one of my most important tools for illness prevention – Chlorine Dioxide.
Chlorine Dioxide is a chemical used to clean water and make it safe to drink while backpacking or on expeditions into more savage lands. Jim Humble used it to clean water for his friends who were very sick with Malaria, and after finding that it actually cured them in a matter of hours he set off to explore its many other uses.

As you’ve probably heard, the Coronavirus epidemic is likely to turn into a serious worldwide issue. Due to the attributes of this disease, trying to avoid infection is not likely to work if you have to interact with the outside world at all. Therefore, my approach to surviving the Coronavirus is to focus on keeping my general health in top condition.

Becoming a Vegan after years of relying on animal products can be a difficult process. I failed on my first attempt several years back, but am trying again armed with some better information about nutritional elements missing from a Vegan diet and how to get them through other means. I also discuss some of the reasons I’m personally choosing to be Vegan.

I personally consider the question, “How do I feel better?” to be among the most important questions we can be asking ourselves and those around us. When we feel good we are able to thrive in our lives, we are able to lift up those around us, and as others are lifted up around us the entire world is improved.

A friend of mine was diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome a few days ago. I didn’t know much about it other than the fact that is was a rare auto-immune disease, so I decided to thoroughly research the topic and share what I discovered.

Let me show you how I grind rice, lentils, vegetables and spices into a fine powdered mix which can be quickly cooked in camp for a delicious hot and hearty meal. It’s also light and compact in my backpack and feeds me for days… the perfect healthy vegan survival dinner!

Water is a daily necessity for us all, and when you’re living nomadically you often have to get creative about where you’re finding it. My favorite spot is from streams or other running water sources, but there is still the problem of microbes to deal with.
There are a lot of good camping filters which do the job, but they’re tedious… and I’m pretty lazy. Chlorine Dioxide had been used by backpackers for decades as a safe way to disinfect their water, and it’s my preferred method. At the right doses it may also alleviate various health conditions. To learn more about that, do an internet search on “MMS”.
I’ve recently adapted my Ketogenic Hot Chocolate recipe to be Vegan as well. This is done by replacing the ghee or butter with a can of coconut milk, and adding a little sunflower lecithin to aid in the mixing.
I’m loving it so far, and am still enjoying the natural health effects of being in ketosis – stable energy and a clear mind is a great way to start the day!
