Evil is an action chosen by an individual which they believe improves their situation, but does so at the expense of other people. Large scale examples of evil would include the decades of torture and murder which took place in the gulags of communist Russia. A small example of an evil action could be a job applicant lying in an interview.

There seems to be a wave of people in the world today who subscribe to the idea that there is nothing objectively true, and it’s all a matter of individual perspective. I share a bit of my own history in that mode of thinking and how I snapped out of it.
Sharing some thoughts on how many of us live life a few steps from total disaster, and how the worldwide culture as a whole tends to do the same thing. This results in stressful lives that are harder to enjoy.

What an individual can own is a debatable topic, but the principle of ownership itself is not. I own my body, therefore I have the right to choose what I do with it, as long as it does not harm another being. I also own my time, which means I own the fruits of how I choose to spend my time. To say otherwise is to claim slavery is legitimate.
