Jemez Fire Hole with a Tarp Shelter

In this video I team up with my buddy Don Brooks to show you how to construct a Jemez Fire Hole, a variant of a Dakota Fire Hole, underneath a tarp shelter. The heat from the long underground trench warms the space inside the tent.

If you’d like to see more of Don’s stuff, check out his YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/donjbrooks1

Here’s the tarp we used for the shelter (10×10): https://cahlen.org/tarp

Thanks for watching!
